Xiang Wenbo, president of Sany Heavy Industry, has made the list yet again in 2021 of China’s Best CEOs by Forbes, ranking 14th of the 50 elected Chinese CEOs─up 10 spots from last year.
Selected as one of the top 50 CEOs of Forbes China in 2010, 2012, 2013, 2020 and 2021, Mr. Xiang is not a first-timer on the list. In addition, he is still the only CEO in the construction machinery industry on the top 50 list.
The list was compiled by referring to metrics including the company’s market value, the range of stock price changes, net profit and growth rates, ROA, ROE and other relevant financial indicators.
In its commentary, Forbes identifies “the post-epidemic era of global economic repair trends” as the reason behind this wave of emerging extraordinary Chinese companies.
